We’ve come at a very interesting stage in technology, Mobility is now expected to impact organizations as much as the Internet did in the 1990’s, seems astonishing? You are not alone. But what the future holds for it? Are organizations working towards this and making sure they are the first to capitalize on this? Well let me show you some statistics: 75% of Fortune 500 companies are taking steps to deploy enterprise mobile apps, seems like companies are already aware and making sure they are the first right? Let me throw some light. According to the latest report of Gartner, by the end of 2017, market demand for mobile app development services will grow at least five times than internal IT organizations’ capacity to deliver them.
Well, it seems organizations aren't doing enough to cope with this demand. Here's another stat by Gartner which again shows organizations are lagging behind, a Gartner survey on mobile app development conducted in 2014 found that the major organizations have developed and released fewer than 10 apps, with a significant number of respondents not having released any apps at all.
So, what you guys think? will the supply eventually meet demand, as the laws of economics suggest? Or we'll see a scarcity?
