    Yes you get a warning, maybe two, and then the penalty is just they disable the name for 60 days. There was a thread on here with that info and a link to the source on MTLD's site.

    They apparently have a bot that goes around checking.

    surprisingly it scores 3/5 but fails 2 requirements.

    But to answer your questions:

    is it OK? Best to see a site compliant with the requirements.
    Will you lose a name? At worst I think the rules say the site can be blocked but no enforcement has been happening yet.

    I prefer to get the names to work for me. Almost all my domains are developed or (majority) pointed via url direct to my other developed sites. Many more sites will get developed over time of course, one at a time.
