Thanks for the email but I thought I'd made it clear some time back I wouldn't do business with you as I don't like or respect you as a person.

from Domain Gang blog (link below)
"Domain investor Anunt Patel, who acquired Flowers.mobi from Rick Schwartz for $6,500 a while back, has confirmed that 1-800-Flowers is the new owner of the domain.
News of the sale was broken by Elliot Silver at his blog.
To avoid speculation about the selling price, we asked Anunt, who told us that the selling price of Flowers.mobi was $5,000.
Dot mobi is not the most popular of TLDs, but regardless, Anunt’s investment sustained a loss of only 23% – in contrast, Rick Schwartz lost a staggering 96% of his $200,000 investment."

from memory, wasn't 1800 flowers the other interested party in the initial bidding war on flowers.mobi some time ago?

Yes. There was many parties bidding with 1800 Flowers being one of them. From what I've read in the comments here they weren't one of the higher bids though:

Well, this really does kind of set a benchmark for high value .mobi domain names doesn't it?
The fact that all enquiries into my .mobi's dried up over 2 years ago also tells me that no-one really wants dotmobi domains....
sad but true: the worst investment I ever made....
