Hi Youmo, did you get the list from "Who to follow" on Twitter? The reason I am asking is that my profile must not be optimized enough to show on the list if that's how you got it.

No, this is a custom list of names created for everyone here. I follow a few of these guys myself.
I typically don't use that suggested user list stuff, these are companies and sites that I have ran into over time. Most of these accounts are companies with sizable followings and who actively tweet useful info. If you fall into that category then we can add your ID to the list. I also didn't include anyone who is following more users than are following them.

Yeah, I should probably add it to the homepage. To be honest, it's not exactly a super useful feed, and more of a real-time indicator of activity on the site. I just wanted to ride the twitter wave and thought that would be a nifty use of it as I hadn't seen any other dating site use twitter in that way.

yeah, I was thinking that too. But I am guessing most feeds that end up on the '.mobi sites:' category will be like that.
I would say that perhaps you should have two feeds, the one you already have which can do what it's doing, and another more curated one with less posts and a bit more readible info. I mean, anyone following your current feed is basically destroying the usefulness of their newsfeed as all your tweets will drown out all the other tweets.

The problem is I honestly don't have time to maintain a proper feed, so if I created a second one, it would just lay empty and reflect poorly on the site. It was pretty much either having this one (which is a fully automatic machine gun) or nothing, so I opted for having some kind or presence (even if it's shooting several tweets a minute) than no presence at all. I have no idea how it has over 1,300 followers, though, as I've never added anyone.
