Default Eastern European Mobile Monday Developer Summit - another new event

    Hi,

In less than two weeks I will be visiting Bucharest, Romania for the first time for the Eastern European Mobile Monday Developer Summit. Is anyone familiar with this event? We have Mobile Monday here in Berlin, but this will be the first time to visit one of the bigger events. It should be interesting, and I'll be updating on the event from our blog.

    Best,

Sure thing, but I'll be sure to leave my lap top at home when visiting such a place.

“We are looking into expanding our business into Poland obviously but also potentially to Turkey, Russia, Hungary and others," said Kristian Myrup, head of the newly established Virgin Mobile Central and Eastern Europe, at a press conference in Warsaw.
However, Virgin Mobile Polska will be the company's priority at present.
“We have been watching the development of the Central and Eastern European mobile telecommunication markets for years and we are convinced the Polish market is now ready for an operator like Virgin Mobile Polska,” he reflected in a press release.
The Virgin Group is the fifth player on the Polish market, and it hopes to win over a million pre-paid clients in Poland over the next three years, by offering competitive deals in relation to other companies.
Virgin is already established as a mobile phone operator in 34 countries besides Poland, with 20 million customers worldwide.
