Default How to remove old page on my website

I put up a form page a while ago, and then changed the design by removing several fields. (I don't remember whether the new form page uses the same file name as the old form page.) After several weeks, I still receive emails of texts entered in the old form. Almost all of these emails are spams, so I'm wondering if my old form page is cached somewhere and the spammers found it through an automated program.

I think they search for things like "contact" since I find any *contact* page gets targeted in ways that seem automatic, such as 1 email per 10 minutes.

I'm trying using robots.txt to noindex pages with contact forms. Also you could limit messages per hour, Drupal lets you set this per IP address.

Thanks gogo, but my question is whether they can search pages cached by Google. Also, does Google still keep old pages after they have been updated. Most important, how can I have the old form page removed and replaced with the new form page?

Ask archive.org to remove it and/or use g webmaster tools to remove from cache.

If you updated the page, there will be no problems soon because when Google updates its cache, the old form will not be visible anymore.

If you have not deleted the form page from your site then you can try what gogo said .. else....
Your email address got detected by spam bots and hence you will keep on receiving spam for eternity. Spammers will sell your email address along with a billion other email addresses. There is hardly anything that you can do about it.

The form data is sent to Godaddy which in return sends the data to my email address. My email address is set up in Godaddy which is not visible to visitors.

Hi morse, I don't remember exactly the name of the file. My guess is either glas.mobi/index.html or glas.mobi/comments.html. Thanks for your help.

I have checked your site, even left a comment there. it seems bots are just automatically posting comments and you are receiving mails. Since I dont have access to your /gdform.php , I guess you have possibly error-ed there in that page code. Use a comment spam filter which will look for words such as viagra, pharmacy and sex. That should save you from 99 percent spam. You can add a captcha system too, or if you are in the mood of revenge, you can add a spam poison page (loads of automated useless random email addresses) I love the last action, it keeps bad bots away as their database gets flooded with trillions of fake email address generated by me

Are you using GoDaddy's forms dev tool or hand coding your own? If the former then only GD can answer your questions, if the latter then just log into your FTP and delete the old forms page and your problems will be over (much better to roll your own rather than use a hosts dev tools since you can move hosts at your pleasure). Deleting former pages brings up another topic, it's also good practice to have a htaccess error page in the event a user hits a non-resolving url on your site, be it a removed page or a typo. This is also a good safety measure since some hosts actually will put up their own parking pages on non-resolving pages on your site, for example 1&1 does this which is in line with their other dubious practices.

Thanks for all the help, including the comment, folks. I've tried custom form script, but for now just stick to GD's standard gdform.php.

Well, the spams don't bother me too much, as I can easily delete them in my email program.
