Post Do you use original brands or not?

When it comes to electronics brands, in how far do you guys use the original accessories (chargers, headphones, etc)? I got an iPad & MacBook, and I only purchase original Apple accessories, but my friends are always telling me off that I pay too much for those. How do you go about it?

I only just use the accessories that come with my stuff… but I don’t know, I don’t really trust third parties. Heard too many stories how they can mess up your stuff.

Depends on what accessories you buy for the type of product. I know apple accessories are quite good.
That's why you have forums lol

I use non-original batteries for my Canon camera and I pretty much only purchase third party accessories for my iPhone. The Apple brand is great, but I saved more than half the cost by buying other brands. Just check out online retailers like dealextreme or miniinthebox.Pretty sure you won’t buy the more expensive brands anymore when it comes to cases or chargers when you see the alternative prices.

Hmm.. what about headphones? I still use Apple's headphones, but they suck.. and cheaper ones won't really be better. That might be the only exception to the rule... gotta invest in good headphones.

I don't think using original brands for little items really matter. Other brands make them just as good. Like I don't think headphones/mice really matter. Though for my iMac did buy the magic mouse for it which I love...but most times I don't really care what the brand is for that accessory.

I'm not a very brand person. But when it comes to electronics, using branded stuff is a must. Using cheap stuff could really mess up your gadgets especially, if you are using the iPhone or the likes, this is just not affordable. So branded it is.

In electronics at least, only brand product or accessories should be purchased.
electric accessories may fall in big risk if they are not quality or company .
So, in electronics, mobiles and gadgets always try to choose brand product who has guarantee or warranty .
