Does anyone know of a Word Press plug in that will allow me to add RSS feeds to pages?

Seems the feeds want to be posted on front page.

    I have a site I would like page 2, 3, 4, 5 to have a specified feed.

just tried this - works fine
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedlist/

but to run it you also need this installed http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exec-php/

then in your wordpress page (html view, not visual) just put in this

    <?php feedList("http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/front_page/rss.xml"); ?>

subsituting the address of your own rss for that one.

    and it works.

(afaik the wordpress built in feed is just for use in the sidebar)

Gerry, the plugin I posted tells you in the readme file where to adjust the default settings - you can control how many items per page etc.

by default it caches the RSS for four hours, so if you want the very latest news on your site you need to change the cache time setting in the configurations - easily done.

    Thanks.

Which of the two plug ins above are you referring to now, the exec-php?

Hi Gerry I meant the feed reader plugin.

the exec php - nothing to change or set imo, it just makes PHP run in your pages (the pages/posts content you create) - it won't otherwise.

BUT if you are letting people post comments you want to be sure they cannot post code in their comments - try it and see.

Any reason why you can think the RSS feeds post twice?

Look at Flu.travel on the other pages (top menu)

looks like the feed has duplicates in it - paste the feed url into your browser and see if that is so?

This is if I past in Google Chrome Browser.

I'll try using other sources for my feeds and see if I get same duplicate results.

One huge pain in the ****.

Yeah people dump a lot of careless rubbish into feeds, which can make your pages look bad... but they may fix their feed later.

It must have something to do with cutting and pasting.

    This page has no feeds:
    http://flu.travel/about

Yet it shows the same text twice.

    Something is screwy
