    Italiano would be more correct.

    Most things not defined by gender will end in the letter "o" as well as masculine words (you wouldn't know about that, now would you? he he he)

    words ending in the letter "a" are feminine.

    Perhaps would go good with your Prada pumps.

    Questionable but I think the hardcore purists would say no.

    Used same way you'd use " American" I think : American music, American Cuisine..etc.

    Borsa Italiana--Italian stock exchange
    La cucina Italiana--Italian Cuisine
    Musica Italiana--Italian Music

    That is as far as I know. If you have further questions this page might help.

    Approximate average monthly Google search volume for Italy:

    Italiano = 6.12m
    Italiana = 1.83m

    So, less widely used but still not too shabby!

    I've noticed (thanks Domaintools!) that most of the Italian .mobis I trimmed from my portfolio, have been taken up by Italians - about 10 names from 12 dropped - not letting any more of 'em drop!

    That's a great compliment given to you by the native speakers!

    Would've been better if they'd bought them while I still had them, but...

    Look on the bright side, you might just have created positive chain reaction.
    Someone got the name at a deal & will have positive use. You might discover some fancy Italian made shoes ( or suit, or car!) and it might be offered at a great price/for next to nothing to you.

    It means " Italian woman" - singular - so suitable for any sort of female site.

    Like, say, American-ess.

    Before you delete, get an Italian to run this by.

    Either here or DNF, Carter is Italian.

    I think I used to have a blog on that name? It was fed like a little piggy each and every day i believe?
