Yes that is correct, however my sitemap has 85,000+ links - I hope to make it to at least 30,000. That will be alot of cities and states.

Nope, listings for every city in the US. If I did the individual listings, I couldn't imagine the size of the sitemap. I had to split it into 2 for Google.

I actually use little HTACCESS, and more PHP. The htaccess tells every page to redirect to index.php and I then grab the query string from the URL, and tell it what page to go to.
