Hi Coast,

I looked at that link on the iPad whilst sitting outside, having my first coffee and smoke of the day. I don't know how to do a screen shot of what I saw but it appeared to show the mobile version which I couldn't resize and didn't fill the screen.

Also noticed the link you posted to apply was ill-formed and started with http://http//

I just filled in the form mentioning http://locationdetection.mobi/ as I think it might be handy for other developers and geeks.

Thank you!

Hi Andy, thanks for catching the mistake on the link. It's fixed now. That's what happens when I post in the middle of the night - I also forgot to add a category or tags. Sheesh.

This site is using the mtld plugin, and I see that it doesn't account for iPad. Since you are the device detection demigod, perhaps you can teach me how to do this at some point, but I warn you, I don't know PHP so there's an extra challenge for you.

If you're interested, I can do a skype chat interview with you (or other instant messaging chat) for publication on mobiEnthusiast.mobi where I ask questions, you tell me how it works, and we end with a link to some of your paid services and/or a paypal link. It's not a bad deal - the site gets traffic from 100 countries and judging from the searches, a lot of people reading are developers (minus all the Hannah Montana fans, but that's a whole other story...)
