ICM Registry applies for .xxx related TLDs / mTLD?

Haven't posted for a while but found this move by ICM interesting.

If you already owned example.xxx, you'd get example.porn, example.sex and example.adult automatically put aside for free.

My question is what is dotMobi doing to protect it's brand? How many alt TLDs have they applied for?

.mobile, .cell, .phone, .app, .mob, ect.?

I suggested a while ago trying to persuade ICANN to allow .m to forward to .mobi... wasn't it even worth a try?

The deadline is today (or again in a couple of years), does anyone know if dotMobi applied for any?

Afilias applied for .contract, which means the application can be expanded to 40 or 50 extensions. Someone else has applied for .app.

My guess is that Hal Lubsen, the Afilias CEO, has put very little attention into Mobi, he has been so busy with the new TLDs. - and if we are a squeaky wheel we might convince him to put some attention into it.

All this upset frustration anger and pain here at Mobility --- and nobody has even talked to the guy.

Here is his quote again, talking about acquiring .Pro:
"it takes attention, dedication and resources to help a TLD achieve its full strategic potential"

In the two years that Afilias has owned .Mobi we have seen only the continuation of the collapse, due to lack of "attention, dedication and resources".

I doubt Hal is aware of the problem, in most part. All he sees is that registrations keep growing, abet at a snail's pace rather than the exponential growth of apps and m.domain.
