    Default Stream .3gp?

I have a bunch of .3gp files on my site and right now you have to download them first before they start playing.
Is there any solution that will allow users to stream video directly and not have to wait for the entire video to be downloaded first?

there are couple i know. You can use darwin streaming server from apple or helix mobile streming server/producer but you must know that not all networks support streming, most of the mobile networks simply blocks necessary ports

Also if you are using iis7 it has a media streming plugin that might worth to look at. As far as i know it utilizes some sort of hinted progressive download.

as above reply your best bid is progressive download.

Progressive download would be enough for me. But right now user has to download 100% of the video before it starts playing. How can I use progressive download so that video starts playing after couple of seconds of buffering?

The video streaming possibility is more related to the the handset and its network.
Handsets on 3 for example allows its users to stream videos automatically.
Then for the other networks it depends on the handset and the version of the Operating System used on it.
Better to propose the option download the video (maybe in 2 different format - low and high quality) and to stream (for those who can...)
