Hi All
I seem to be having troubles with my .mobi site loading correctly on my browser (firefox). The problem has been going on for some weeks now. The site in question, my photographic mobile site: erwingroen.mobi
every time i type in my site within the (pc) address bar the following comes up:
xml parsing error: mismatched tag. Expected: </body>.
location: http:// erwingroen.mobi/
line number 1, column 3211:
Netscape seems to reveal the same problem!
Asking some other members to perform a search for my site on their mobile phones all seems ok, until i type in my .mobi site on my own mobile, guess what, "web no gateway reply" comes up nothing!
Does anyone know what is going on?
Thanks
Erwin

I really don't like the mobilesitegalore created xhtml. (Sorry Akmin)
Tidied up the xhml on your homepage
Check http://www.homesincalabria.com/test/erwintest.htm .
It has a 5/5 score now...
Go to http://infohound.net/tidy/ with the other pages and check the following options:
CLEAN
DROP EMPTY PARAS
INDENT ATTRIBUTES
Keep the rest as it appears..

Thanks for the effort Martin I appreciate that! (hoping all is well with you!)
I found that others trying mobisitegalore have similar problems but I really hope it can be fixed down their end!

I also have had the same exact issue (and then ultimately "Server Not Found") in all of the Main PC Browser Types: Firefox, IE & Safari, with the first website that I published using MSG 5.0, I wasn't able to reach anyone from your toll free number regarding this issue, it did occur at the beginning of the weekend so I can understand if you don't provide phone support on weekends. I also did leave a discription of the very same error message on your mobiSiteGalore Support Forum. (with no reply as of yet)
I then therefore deleted the entire website and remade it, but haven't been able to republish it beings that the domain states as unavailable, I don't know if it takes a few days to clear from your system or not, but still not able to republish the site because of it.

Hopefully someone at mobisitegalore can get to the bottom of this issue soon!

We have analyzed the issue and found out the problem. The XHTML DTD conformance of the site(s) is broken and it typically happens only when the user selects the entire content and deletes (using FireFox browser menu) as it deletes part or whole of non-editable content also. This issue is a rarity as we have already taken steps to address the same. However, more inputs from the user(s) on the action(s) that trigger the issue are welcome as it will help us to address the issue better.
In the meanwhile, if the affected users can provide their mobile site builder user accounts, we can physically correct the issues for them.

Photoman,
We have manually fixed your index page in staging area (application preview). You can verify and then publish to fix the same in published location (http://erwingroen.mobi/).

I seem to still have the same problem with my photography site loading. I went into my account and re-published my site. Clicking on the link (above) in firefox still reveals problems:confused2:

While it is working fine with IE, the problem seems to be persisting with FireFox. We are still analyzing the issue and will update you ASAP.

The current extension of the website as configured within mobiSiteGalore is PHP but the default file that is getting served for http://erwingroen.mobi is index.html which seems to have some issue. On the other hand, http://erwingroen.mobi/index.php loads fine with both IE as well as firefox. Hence either renaming the index.html to a different name or configuring the web server to server index.php by default should solve the problem.

The mobiSiteGalore Support here at Mobility has been very helpful with the issues that I've had and has resolved those issues.
Thank You !!

This is purely a FireFox related issue and it doesn't affect the display in other devices (including mobile devices) in any way. Currently we are testing the fix at our end and will update online within couple of days.

Many thanks for doing this as many people are using Firefox as their default browser.
