This idea is being kicked around over 'there', and I think its a good idea to also have one here. Would be a good way to get more names sent to auction, and see if there's at least $60 worth of interest in one's names!

Thoughts??

Oh! sounds good ,but my track record with sending a name to auction hasn't been the best but I do think it's a good idea & hopefully the future will hold a Bright spot for .mobi.

Good idea hawk, but how about a subforum instead so the thread doesn't get bogged down?

It's a good way to go if you want $60 but for bigger fish it seems private sales are the way to go.

i tried this once in the very beginning.. it seemed like the thread was ignored.. not sure if it was because the title remained the same and people were less likely to click on it again and again.. or the quality of domains wernt up to par.

but then again, i have trouble all the time getting people to send fairly decent .mobi's to sedo auction starting at $60.... and several times these same domains end up selling for at least $1,000 when they finally do get a starting bid.

i can start another sticky if people want to try it again though..

Wish I knew your secret...I have terrible luck with Sedo .mobi auctions (for what I think are good names). It's like they say, oh, it's just one of Dave's auctions, let's not bid... :frown:
