Domain won't resolve?

Last night I registered a domain at GoDaddy, and it still won't resolve.
The whois data and GoDaddy both show the domain pointing to my servers.
My hosting account is set up for the domain (and my hosting is up and running, all my other sites work just fine).

Why is it not resolving to my hosting?

EDIT: Finally got working right after about 36 hours.

Could just be your ISP.. or it could be Godaddy. I'd give it a little while longer, and then contact GD.

Ok, called GoDaddy (very friendly support by the way, first time calling them and the girl I talked to was probably the nicest support member I've ever come across :D) and they said I'll probably just have to give it a little while longer.

Hey E, I just wanted to say you regged a Real Nice name..
The only thing I don't understand is why you would have to wait a full day for the name to resolve..
If it doesn't resolve by tomorrow I wouldn't care how nice the rep is, if they can't give you a real answer ask to speak with a supervisor. That's where the fun begins.Good Luck

this is interesting as i regged 8 last night here (http://mobility.mobi/showthread.php?p=44721#post44721) and none resolve

i got onto parked and they assured me it wasn't them and isn't an isp prob either as moniker suggested as i'm in uk and parked in us and ehsan checked and he's in pakistan

moniker got back twice to be fair and re-set, but i'm thinking if there is a problem further down line, i don't know enough about dns propagation etc, yes i'm a legend but i can't know everything :biggrin:

maybe the naysayers have took out the rootservers allocated just for mobis via stealth ? hehe

had same problem w/ GD this week..they had me set dns to custom and it still didnt work. long story short...

they had to do it manually on there end....
