value of .com compared to .mobi currently

Just a simple basic question. What do you think the overal value of a .mobi name is to the .com name (for basic generic names.) For example on sedo now, they are selling scrolls.com(currently parked) and its at $8k currently without the reserve met with 5 bids byt 2 bidders with 4 days left,

Do you think my scrolls (dot) mobi could sell for 10% of that? Also maybe now would be a time to submit it to sedo?

i guess the main question is, what do you think the value of a .mobi is compared to a dot com after its sold.

I think the overall value of most generic dictionary mobi names is still regfee - $xx regardless of the .com value. If its an extremely good keyword like stocks.mobi, realestate.mobi, etc then of course it will be worth more or if someone has a development plan and really wants the name. You cant compare all mobi names as being worth a certain % of the same name in .com though. I dont think scrolls.mobi would get anywhere near $800+ this early into .mobi. I would think scrolls.mobi would get $xx right now.

thanks nrmillions, I was kind of thinking of that. I may just put it out there soon to see what happens, but then again I may be better off developing it with the other religious names and maybe sell them as a package after.

yea definitely develop it and hang onto it for a couple more years before trying to push it into a sedo auction. good luck with it.
