.mobi chat script?

I found one but its in .wml. I would prefer one in xhtml.

An instant chat that works on all mobile phones (.mobi) would be revolutionary to say the least..

I've been looking for quite a long time, in the entire world internet.. and can't find one..

I have been a chatroom junkie/veteran since 1994 IRC effnet in unix shell prompt (before the web browsers, except MOSAIC and lynx command)

I feel this medium of communication (staying idle all day long in a chat) could one day challenge instant messenger downloads because it is more than just one on one communication.. you and your colleagues can stay in touch in one room, idling all day, and checking the scroll which everyone sees.. plus, it is an open ended communication valve that, if advertised, one can meet "new" people to expand your networking pie.. all on your phone at your side..
