Measuring Mobile Traffic/Stats

Does anyone have suggestions for measuring mobile traffic/stats? I am looking for something which shows similar information to Google Analytics, but obviously without having to use Javascript.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

Typical server logs will show the type of browser being used, on mine it usually shows up as WAP browser. Is this what you're looking for or something more advanced?
