Each state might be different.

But this will actually be embossed into the plate.

The image shown is from the actual DMV site where you enter the message and check for availability.

What can I say...North Carolina- First in Flight, First in .Mobi.

I don't know about puppies but with my cats I shove my finger down their throat when they try to nibble on my hands. It changes their habits quick.

Now a question - how do you get a puppy to stop chewing on your hands and toes?By giving him something that IS okay to chew on. I trained dogs for guard duty, bomb and drug detection for the Air Force years ago. Her method of training is quite different but very very effective.

Mobi was sitting and going into the down position on command without hesitation at 14 weeks. Blew me away. It could be the breed, it could be a number of factors. But she says to give it a toy or an item that is okay to chew on. They are going to chew, so let them know early on what is okay and not okay to chew on.

Great thinking!I think we all need to be creative to get the word out but most importantly have people ask "what does that mean?"

Numerous people have already asked how Mobi has gotten his name. My wife is well versed in mobi-ism and domaining. Some people may still not get it but some are curious enough to find out more.

Now if I can just get my wife trained to memorize all the active sites in alphabetical order to recite. Guess I need to write her a script.

As for 3C plates, I am restricted to eight characters on a plate, the "dot" counts as one.

I am trying to coordinate a plate with a potential site that is why I chose this plate. It is a new reg but they will work well together.

I ran a list a while back of all available 3C mobi's. I am sure it needs updating but I published it to this site.

Look in the left hand menu and you'll see a part one and a part two (I, II).

There are thousands and thousands. So perhaps this can spark some ideas.
If you get really, REALLY bored, look at a.m. (alphabet mobis). This is a list of available 5 letter dictionary domains. Over 4000. This is dictionary but some are in another language.

I will go next week and apply for the plate. I think this is a fantastic way to promote .mobi. I am going to post a list of 3c names available so that if anyone else gets the itch.. they will have some to pick from.

Gerry love that idea!!!! I did think of that way back when and even went so far to see who had my name. Lo & behold someone already had pilot :(

so my next choice was going to be PILOT.M

I'd have to put a sticker on there to complete the .mobi part.

My other vehicles have plates for another project site.

I would imagine it is a tax write off for us also...at least that is my plan.

Anything at all to promote mobi is a go for me. Then you can set up a site and have everyone come to MJ4.MOBI to find out more about it and your names and sites.

I have had this idea for a few months now. I thought the best thing to get for promotion would simply be a plate that says DOTMOBI.I almost went with DOT.MOBI as an option. I hate for people to ask me, "what does DO TM OBI mean?" if I just went with DOTMOBI. Plus, I wanted one that fit my purpose and could build a site around it. Not owning DOT I would hate to drive traffic to someone else's site.

I also looked at more later on and regged 4K9.mobi, which I think may have even been a better legible plate.
