I second dp's suggestion, except would keep the lounge separate from news/discuss.

I have to agree with you. There are so many sections that I don't even bother looking at each one individually -- I just click on "New Posts" in the top horizontal menu and see what's been posted most recently throughout the forum.
I think combining News and Discussion would be good, but leaving Lounge separate would be best. In addition, I think moving the Discussion sections (both public and members-only) below the "General" header would also help to streamline things a bit.
Andres, what do you think?

I agree that the distinction between news and discussion is quite blurry. I'm OK consolidating them. similarly I'm thinking to merge the "Discussion" section into the "General" section. Combine news into the discussion forum, so that the General section would follow the Community section and look like this:
General
-Discussion
-Private Discussion (members only)
-Reported Sales
-Legal (members only)
Also, consider moving Reported Sales into the Marketplace. Seems like a better fit there IMO. Just my .02.

:bingo: Exactly what I had in mind...

But of course, for those of us visiting on a daily basis, the "New Posts" button is a godsend (I use it every time myself).

Cool! Are you able to make a site announcement informing visitors of the reorg for a few days?
