Funny...looked for that one some months ago..didn't take it..

The problem with Jenever is that it's not drinked that much anymore. In my father's generation it was the no 1 alcoholic beverage (with the exception of beer)...but now it's not that popular anymore.

BTW: I drink it mixed with coke..and love it !!

I used to work for a dredging company where the crews drank nothing but jenever (except for beer) off watch of course. I quite liked the taste, but far prefer the whisky, it can be drank warm.
