I am hispanic but for a strange reason I still can't understand, I mostly reagistered english domains. I only picked up a few Spanish .mobi terms early on. A helpful forum member pointed out to me that some are also Portuguese terms as well. That helps. Not fluent in the language so most of these will probably be either sold down the road or forwarded to other sites. Lots of English names to develop.

Strange, since "bancaria" returns 16,000,000 Google results, and "arriendo" returns nearly 3,000,000. Babelfish.altavista.com and freetranslation.com both return the definitions as "banking" and "leasing/lease."

Well, apparently it does translate as "bank clerk" in Italian, but it also translates as "banking" in Spanish. And most of the Google results that come up first seem to be for Spanish-language sites...

Thank you for your input. I registered it because a language translation tool told me that it meant "commodities". That would have been a real nice one. Will have to adjust plans for it.

arriendo: Perhaps in old Spanish arriendo can have some meaning but I have not heard this word in my life. Here, in spain, if you want a car, you can do a leasing (there is not translation). The most similar word could be "prestamo.mobi"

bancaria: bancaria is nothing. I only use the word "bancaria" few times, for example when I do a
bank transfer. The correct domain would be "transferenciaBancaria.mobi", but only bancaria is nothing (also, "oficina bancaria", "domiciliacion bancaria", bancaria is an adjective).

No. There aren't very differences between Spanish and Mexican spanish. The pronuntiation yes, its true, is not very similar. If you come to Spain and put an Andaluz, Gallego and Catalan (all from spain regions) cab driver in the same room you could also see a lot of differences with the pronuntiation. For me is very difficult to understand andaluz people (south of Spain, a few miles from me). :-))

I have only one .mobi domain name but I consider it as
a premium one for spanish talking market thanks to the
posibilities it offers for development, the name is:

Todo.mobi = (in english it would be everything.mobi/all.mobi, well basicly Everything Mobile :), todo is a very used term atleast in spain for many things ... Todo Futbol, Todo Movil etc.)

The name is short, easy to remember and naturally offers many ways to do the development with it. I have plans to make website for it maybe a directory where the mobile device users will find all products and services at the same place. The monetizing could be done with ads, affiliate programs etc..

Opinions of the name, development ideas etc are very welcome !!

I have a large portfolio of the bets premium domain names (.coms) in spanish
for mobile relared products and services so if there are talented people/companies

I dont like the idea of "forms" of verbs (Conjugaciones in spanish), cause it leaves the idea of "something missing", "Besé"(Kissed)> Who did u kissed ? "Bese" > Usually in the way to advice or comment > (You)Kiss(Her/Him).
Same with "besa" (She/He kisses . . whom ?), i m not sure about the marketing behind those names, but i feel like the end of a history i heard the last word :hmmmm2:

Hey, i forgot to tell you that "Fanaticos" is my favorite domain of ur possesion since it could be used for referring to Costa Rica, they are called in Latinamerica the "Nation Tica", here (http://www.calnative.com/stories/n_tico.htm) u can have the story, they are famous for their eco-turism and they are one of the most developed countries in latinamerica in terms of quality of life, may be u can find a buyer looking in that direction or start to dev.

That´s a great generic domain but it seems so generic that i only find a valuable dev. when comes to languaje-based sites and i dont use those sites from my cellphone that much :hmmmm2:
