*I posted this on the admob forums and thought this post belongs here too.
Is the iPhone really causing more traffic to mobile and .mobi names? Or is it just a weird occurrence?
The day the iPhone came out my traffic sunk, but days after that my traffic started building up again. Now, this week my traffic on average is much higher than before, and I have many more clicks.
My developed .mobi names are really making a profit.
How are your sites doing and how is your traffic?

My traffic is about double what it was before the iPhone launch. Granted I haven't updated my site since the launch, there really is no justification for it other than that the iPhone (and awareness of it) is creating additional cellular internet customers.

Only time will tell I guess. Could be a coincidence. I'll have to check my stats for the Safari browser.

I went 35 gigabytes over my alloted bandwidth in traffic :)

I experienced some peaks over July 4th holiday which would correspond to a few days after the launch.
One site went from 10 hits to 130 on July 1 and then on July 2.
Another went from 45 to 266 from July 3rd to July 4th.

Here's my latest graph: www.antimatter.mobi (http://www.antimatter.mobi)
That's for 1 semi-developed name. Definitely pays to develop, but it looks like traffic is increasing all around.

I'm seeing a pretty big surge generally.
