This is just a log from what I wrote down while it was happening for advertising the ipad. Please excuse the grammer/ slang ect...and its not welll written, but i tried to correct as much as I could lol
Anyway Here it is: I started with 140 users for ipad.mobi (http://ipad.mobi)prior to putting in $25 (us) in to advertising for my iPad
(this was targeted at all the countries for advertisment)
"my definition of Burn ='s from start to stop from running the ad" (I kind of felt like a Rocket Scientist doing this lol) But it means I Paused and ran the ad at intervals as you will see the more you read.....

Test 1
i ran a ".05" ad from admob (target all countries)
I gained 13 new users and spent $9 and made $1.50 in ad revenue from ipad Total Time (7 min)

Test #2
I ran a .03 ad for 3min..... (had crapyy ads at the time maybe. I deleted alot of ads)
ran it for 2 min....then noticed, not enough impressions where there for money (no ad was up and got no new user in 2 min at 7 20 PM est to all countries.)
No one clicked as of yet......
$.15 was spent for ad money so far from my advertising company.

(no ads on ipad.mobi..since I depleted the low ones on the site...you know what thiis means who ever is running admob)
Now I am just looking for users for iPad with $15 left in my admob account to spend for advertising as a test!
.03 ad running now with a "5 minute burn" with no ads on it
Time 7:36 pm est time
Nothing for the first 2 min.... I stoped after 5 min....so far 1 new user for login.
ONLY 1 user for .03 cents at 745 es time
(made .02 for ad revenuepossiblly) (.75 cents spent from my admob advertising account)

.05 Advertisment again for ipad (with out any ads on iPad)
"5 minute burn"
after 2 min 1 new user .20 spent (no ads)
wow 5 new users now after 5 min from start to stop! (still No ads on ipad)
Total of 5 new users and account is at $10.95 with $1.64 in ad revenue since original $25 (but no ads were up there in the last 3 tests that I did)

"3 1/2 min burn" for the ad price of $.11-$.21
2 new users so far within 2 min
5 new users after 3 min (this is incredible)
(I gained 5 new users for this ad in about 3 min)
Ad Balence NOw Zero
lol but it goes to show you how many clicks $10 went in. IT took a little below 4 minutes at the price of .11-.20.
Im just kind of mad that I only got 5 new users for that price. But the ad ($.11-$.21) I made another $1.50 from the ads and it was a cheap ad (at $.02 for the ad that was on their)

As of now for stats
478 unique clicks (for $25)
25 New Users (for my login at ipad seperate to admob)
Ad Rev...$3.04 (but the ads were down on my site for half the time..I could of made a bit more...but wanted to test it with and with out ads to see if the user would sign in)
CTR (click ratio)
$.03 ".76%) With out ads running on ipad (no much rev)
$.05 ".68%" With ads running on ipad (made around $1.40)
$.05 "1.22%" with out ads running on ipad (people loged in still but rate still around the same as other $.05 ad)
$.11-.21 ".65%" with .02 ads runnning ipad (made around $1.50)
Total outcome
165 new users compared to 140 before I advertised
25 new registered users a price of $25 (not bad at all to spread the word)
I will keep everyone posted of the stats tommorrow, hits ect...
Now the beaty of this is that, the traffic should build more like last time I advertised. I put in $60 and got a little over 60 new users for a login site.
It works! But you may have to suck up the ad money for a bit. And very fun to watch.
