Dear Mobiers,

I have some great news! Mobility.mobi has officially joined the dotMobi Advisory Group (MAG) (http://advisorygroup.mobi/), giving us access to the latest happenings in the dotMobi world. Our point-person at MAG will be our moderator, Scandiman, who'll be keeping our community abreast of the latest developments.

I would like to add that the idea and sponsorship for Mobility's MAG membership came from 1 man: think (http://mobility.mobi/member.php?u=11). So please join me in thanking think for his awesome financial contribution which not only increased our credibility in the marketplace, but has also given us access to inside scoop that will be of benefit to all of you.

Thanks think and Scandiman for your awesome work!

And members, from now on, you will hear it here first, at the #1 .mobi forum.

Cheers,
Andres

Thank you Think! I know those member fees are not cheap. That is certainly a gracious and kind thing you have done for mobility. People like you, and Scandi, and Andres, and Dartho are what make me proud to be in this mobi forum.

Yes PC, a crew indeed. Please, let's not forget my fellow mods mjnels, dagersh and vikrantjain22 who have helped to make this place a home since day 1. Without the team effort, none of this would have happened.

Scandiman will be our man in Dublin! Excellent selection, but keep the lad away from the Guiness --- or he might go on a "mobi" spree.

OK, first one's on me - cheers!

:coo2l: Couldn't think of much better news to hear tonight. It amazes me of the commitment each and every one of our fearless leaders have to keeping us informed. I'm sure I speak for others when I say our gratitude towards your efforts, both financially and time wise, is "priceless". We will all benefit from your efforts in the long haul.

This news ROCKS....:thrasher:

We (Mobility.mobi, .mobi investors, and the extension as a whole) are making great strides here, and Scandi is definitely the man for the job! As soon as Think made the suggestion of having Mobility be represented on the MAG board, the first person I thought of for the job was Scandiman, :viking:and thankfully, he was up for the task. I know he'll do us proud in whatever fashion he can. And of course major thanks to Think for getting it all rolling...:burnout:

Your efforts are appreciated and will be rewarded in due time. Having first hand information is extremely important. I just hope we are not giving this information to the naysayers coming following us from you-know-where ;)

Very nice work here guys. Think, you're always 'thinking'! Scandi, you'll be a great ambassador for mobility at MAG! And a big thanks to Andres, Dag, vikrant, and all the mobility staff and members here. Gone for 2 weeks on vacation, and coming back to positive and progressive (and civil!!!) news on .mobi and this forum, is invigorating and encouraging! Great work everyone, and again my appreciation to all of you!!

Andres - this is just another great example of the type of community spirit that you've been attracting and building here at mobility.

Scandiman - That is one big plate that you must be carrying around every day. Thanks for your tireless efforts.

Very sorry for slow response. Thank you all for the kind words :)

I have been a MAG member for about 4 months now and I really think this will help keep the community informed and to work in harmony with MTLD. I really believe Mobility.mobi can and will play an integral role in the Mobi ecosystem.

Here's to an exciting and profitable adventure.

Cheers,

C.T.

First off you gain access to the private forum. Not too much going on there yet though. Also, you get invites to conference calls, one of which I participated in yesterday. Topic was an overview of some tech stuff such as discussion of the mobile web developers guide part II and seeking input from the membership in regards to deeper input regarding dotMobi's increasing participation in WURFL community, highlighted by their recent hiring of Andrea Trasatti, one of the front runners in WURFL. I received a few questions about Mobility and the cool thing is they have already been checking us out. I'll learn more in the coming months, it's all about participating whenever possible.
