Question regarding flowers.mobi

Can someone tell me how a parked page from Sedo on Flowers.mobi gets a Google PR of 3/10???? I know google tries to make it's algorythm better all the time but this is just ridiculous.

Hi media, the PageRank is to do with how well a name is published in high ranking online media. It has very little to do with content in my belief. I have a .mobi that is PageRank 5 which has a small amount of content.

so basically what you are saying is the more press releases you create then the better Page Rank you can get??

Yes as long as the PR is on good quality sites.

As you will see flowers.mobi has had a great deal of pr in the domain community, blogs, news, forums.

If your interested media, I have a .com project that I started at the end of August with 0 PageRank and nowhere on google. Now it is PageRank 3 and on page2 (13th position) for the 2 main keywords for this project. Its easy when you know how, :biggrin:

The reason I noticed this one was because I am building a flower related business for my wife of one week. :) There are 3 main keywords and many secondary ones that I am targeting but here are my results for the 3 main keywords after the site being started one week ago. I'm not even close to finished with it yet and really haven't done my SEO either.
