i think everyone noticed and i think some of his 30 ***ers on sedo have been xxx ***ers from domainers lol
but he had a lot of ***ers anyway, seems holding out for a good payday

its possible the domain may just stay undeveloped, hope not
but 10k is chicken feed to a big company
they have just wanted to secure domain
domain is in csc name and may just stay that way as they are like mark monitor
depends on clients budget. they have bought domains in 7 fig range for clients. very smooth and experienced operators
good to deal with. have sold a few domains to csc but if their client sets a budget, thats it, they cannot and will not go over

privacy would have helped seller on this i think and just sticking to guns on price
who knows though
they may have paid double or triple

but have been buying up all other major extensions and non major like .asia for silly money

That wasn't an aftermarket sale afaik, it was a previously unreleased premium and probably the only one after the low-selling and non-selling domains of the last premium auction in November 2008. And I'm not sure I believe what Dotmobi say, the timing was just right to persuade domainers to renew landrush names.

If you believe there have been more then please share with us, I don't know of anything much over $5k since 2008.

Just find that Emerson.mobi goes to Emerson.com. It should be a good news that more and more big end users are acquiring .mobi domains, even it is for brand protection.
