As an SEO fyi, limit your directory submissions to 5 a day. Any more than that and google is likely to think you're a bot and downgrade your site accordingly.

Just a word of warning, however, to those of you are relatively new to link building and directories. There are only a few that the engines really pay attention to, so don't spend your life savings getting into them. They may be used more early on, as inbound links for mobile sites are more scarce than for their desktop counterparts; but if the trends of the early web are any indication, mobile directories like other directories will be downgraded in importance over time.

By the way, I found about 125 of these mobile directories. Not to brag, but to tell you all to keep looking if you are really interested in discovering these sites. I'm not going to share the whole list, as I'm sure most of them are nearly worthless in terms of their importance to the major search engines, but you are missing out on one that I would consider strong. You can currently submit your mobile web site to Medio here:http://www.mediosystems.com/solutions/wapsubmit.php They provide search technology to partners including T-mobile, so it should help increase visibility.

This appears to be an advertising site. Do they charge for links? If so, be careful. Paid links are getting sites downgraded in pagerank (the sites selling links, that is).

Coast, you make a good point about paid links. However, this link simply submits your mobile site to their organic search results, which appear for partners like T-mobile. The mobile advertising aspect of Medio relates to mobile search marketing and is completely above the board.

Just saw onfly.mobi getting some pretty nice numbers coming from them as well. Hope they keep adding more mobi's. The additional traffic is certainly welcome. 82 clicks out from them for fbimostwanted and I just noticed them the past day or so. They've certainly got some users. :adore:
