Still a bargain. What makes it a bargain? Can you enlighten us with the strength of this domain? Its .com is used by a professional speaker. The .org and .net are probably parked.

The .org and .net are probably parked.Strom is electric energy, or do you say power? In Germany (Strom is a German word) the Strom market undergoes strong changes. Cheap energy, green energy. People are changing their suppliers very often as the market is deregulated.

You researched that the keyword is not used a lot in the main TLDs for its core purpose. However, I imagine that Mr. Strom (strom.com) is waiting for the right ***er by a German energy giant. $250k would be cheap for this term IMO.

Compare strom to other related international keywords in Google Adwords Traffic Estimator and you may understand by the numbers.

I see that strom.mobi sold for $1,060. Thousand dollars are a lot in this market, but for strom?

People are seeing value in Mobi over the other, more established extensions, in these cases.
Question is, is this simply due to a lower price (soon to be eclipsed by hordes of new extensions) or a real sense of value in Mobi specifically. I suspect the later, but there's not much here to prove it.

Another good indication, but it would be better to see larger numbers.

Has Whois become public for 'delighted'?
Are they a member here?
What I would like to know is their real reason for purchasing a .mobi -especially when one sells for $1000+
During these times of "mobi uncertainty"

I always though verbs were frowned upon (unless of course its a really common one, and in .com or .net extension). Delights.mobi would make much more sense. Sounds like the name for a pastry shop or for the depraved mind...perhaps something adult.

Anyway, this news makes me glad I decided to renew some of the verbs I have.
