Rob,

Great effort! Are you doing these yourself or using a service to knock these out?

Very nice!

Im a subscriber to scripter.mobi that allows me all use of there scripts. So in a matter of an hour i can have a site up and running. I make the logo upload the database and setup the site at admob. I highly recommend using a service like scripter!

The only problem with these sites is that the site is dynamic and only the index page will be indexed by robots. It would sure be nice to have 81,000 pages indexed for occupancy.mobi for example. anyways im working on fixing this problem by making a separate site of static pages just for google and yahoo indexes :)

Cheers
Rob

been thinking about joining myself but waiting for some more scripts or we're all gonna have the same ones lol

thats a great idea you have rob about getting all the pages indexed. how would that work, and could it be implemented for other sites with a simple script?

seems like you should be the one writing the scripts and selling them! :adore:

Nice! There will be a social networking script available, as well as weather, mobile directory script, and a few more I've got brewing.

Why don't you create a google sitemap from your database content?

Yes i plan on that as soon as i give all the pages seo friendly url's.

Pred ... It isnt quite as easy has it sounds. First i have to input all the urls into a spider to get the pages. Then i have to give all the pages seo friendly urls and optimize the pages. I can do this relatively fast using dreamweaver's find and replace option. Then i will have to spider the site and create an index search engine for all the pages. So you can search by city, address, phone number, zipcode or hotel name. Then ill create a sitemap and submit it to google and yahoo and hope the results pay off.

P.S. I'm sure you wont regret joining the scripter.mobi service.

Cheers

Hi Biff :)
Well you dont need a template to use dreamweaver. Using occupancy.mobi has an example i will change the template file known in this case as index.php. My first tag that needs to be replaced is the <title>Occupancy mobi | Hotel Listings USA</title> I'll want this tag to read <title>Hotels | </title> The space after the pipe is so i can add the city name to the title tag. Next I'm going to add a <h1> | Hotels</h1> tag right after the <body> tag. Leaving space for the city name at the beginning of the tag.

Now when i send the spider out to fetch all the pages these tags will be in place. then I open 50 pages at a time in dreamweaver and i copy and paste the corresponding city name in the 2 tags has well has at the end of the meta discription tag. These 3 tags make all the difference in the world because each page already has my 2 targeted keywords in the text of the <body> For targeting keywords i use what is known has long-tail keywords. Example: Miami Hotels, Hotels Las Vegas etc etc (you get the idea) City Name and Hotel.

Hope this gives helps

These sites added the past week. For local 1-10 day weather forecasts http://yourweather.mobi. For complete florists listings in the USA visit http://flowered.mobi. I know the name flowered sux but that is what i own so it will have to do. :)
My static pages project, Ive submitted 3 sitemaps for occupancy.mobi to goog the past week. The 1st for 4600 pages. 2 days later 6300 and yesterday 9600 static pages submitted. I believe I have covered 14 us states so far. You can see the static pages http://occupancy.mobi/new-york/hotels-10001-3.php look identical to the dynamic with the exception of the title and the header. All the links at the bottom of the page remain dynamic.

Cheers

Nice work on the sites Rob!

I like how Ratt makes other sites look mobile, but there's no way those pictures from a .com will fit on a mobile. Such a relief, actually, as it gives .mobi sites the advantage.

I admit, I was kind of expecting to see this on ratt, though:
