It's time to start curling some nominations into the March 2010 MotM house! (Sorry, I've been watching a lot of Olympic curling...)

Important note -- there has been a change to the nomination rules: a site now only needs to score a 3/5 or higher to be nominated.

Not sure which site to nominate? Have a look at the New .mobi sites Developed by Members (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=54) to see what's been announced over the past couple of months.

To be nominated, a .mobi site must:

Be a site owned by a Mobility member who has a post count of at least 30 and has been a member for at least 1 month (to discourage new members from joining just to have their sites nominated).
Not be yours (to keep the number of nominations down).
Score at least a 3/5 on Ready.mobi (http://ready.mobi/) (to encourage an effort at proper development).
Have been posted beforehand in the "New .mobi sites Developed by members (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=54)" Section by its owner no more than 3 months ago, not including the month it was posted (to encourage members to develop new sites and share them with the Community).
Have never previously won .mobi of the month (to give other sites a chance), although it may be previously nominated
Not be adult or offensive in nature (to keep it clean).

Also, you are only allowed to nominate 1 site per month, and please remember to include the verified Ready.mobi score.

Nominations will be taken until the end of the day on February 23, at which point we'll begin the voting, which will end on February 28. Start posting those nominations!

Nominated so far:

DarkWAP.mobi
Nyhet.mobi
Saturday.mobi

A promise is a promise! Saturday.mobi owned by Proton and developed by Developmy.mobi. I think it is 4/5, it is re-nominated from last month.

I'd like to nominate darkwap.mobi (http://darkwap.mobi/)
launched this month by mobility member Morse
http://mobility.mobi/showthread.php?t=50402

Scores 5/5 at ready.mobi
has useful info on mobile monetisation and looks set to grow
so it deserves a spotlight as it explores the final frontier of the mobile web

I would like to nominate Nyhet.mobi (http://nyhet.mobi)(means news in Swedish) and scores 5/5.

Developed by member Gogo.

I think it is very important for the future of .mobi to also get mobile sites in other languages promoted and showcased!!!

Just wait for me to launch the first Afrikaans mobi site!! LOL

Thanks for the nominations so far -- we're still accepting them through the end of the day today.

And please remember, posting that you "vote" for such and such a site in this thread does NOT count as an actual vote for that site. You'll need to do it in the voting thread that will be posted by tomorrow.
