There was someone named Tonix that was teaching me Joomla and Open Source from Sardinia. Very pleasant. He is a programmer and was buying some domains from me.

I do not exactly know where he lives on Sardinia.

I was in Italy for nearly 3 years and my wife and I returned for a few weeks in 2005. I have never been to Sardinia but want to go. I have since bought many books on Sardinia and have read up on the history.

It is like a micro continent with many culture (eight?) on one island.

I used to speak fluent Italian and can still speak some. I read it pretty well.

So yes, we will be coming back. And Sardinia is one of our plans.

ok Gerry you are right! Here there are many culture, depending on the invasion. In Alghero all people can speak catalan (barcelona), in Carloforte Genovese (from Genova), near Alghero you can find refugee from Istria, etc.etc. Somebody tells that around the world is difficolt to find beach and sea like here in Sardinia. I don't know but sure we have very beautiful place. Also the middle of our island is very beautiful. Yes i think could be time to visit Sardinia.:laugh:
