That's the message anyway, when one goes to Target.mobi...maybe they'll be the first of the big department store chains to "get their .mobi on"...

Just going to http://target.mobi (http://target.mobi/) it re-directs to their com site but that doesn't matter! I'm certain the site would be used for store locators, phone numbers, specials etc.

You know what.. that is exactly how every major/minor compant pizza joint, tire place etc will go about their promotions, discount offers etc through their .mobi site. I could not agree more-you hit the nail on the head BIG TIME!

i don't have the health or the youth to pursue it but if i could i would do a startup to agressively expand this coupon by cellphone market

you could have a site like mycoupons.mobi and have people register, then companies will send coupons to your inbox based on your preselected location, interests, age etc

you could keep your identity private, the companies would only send coupons to profiles not names

you then go in and select the ones you want, go into the store and they scan the code right off your cell

you could also get coupons by gps location as well with text notification etc,

if you are shopping you will be able to scan the barcode of a product and see if there are any competing coupons for other stores ..... there are so many variations on how this will work

this will make somebody a boatload of money
