Ya thats correct Egnited. I originally regged the name back in 2008 and it was deleted a couple days ago.

yes almost correct. i re-regged the name after i got the ***er from sedo. I then accepted the ***er. easy peasy :)

Just goes to show, only domainers, really, would even think to check, say, WHOis for current status/owner. Expensive gap in the buyer's knowledge...

Maybe they felt safer buying from Sedo than some dubious registrar? Or they just felt they needed help and were willing to pay.
