Hi,

Before you break for the holidays, I thought I'll update you on the recent enhancements to mobiSiteGalore and the new features that we plan to launch by the month end.

The following enhancements were made in the last few weeks:

a) Improvements to the quick start wizard flow in mobiSiteGalore mainly aiming at reducing the time that a user takes to go live with his website by getting the users to publish quickly.
b) We have included temporary free hosting of user websites for their own domain names as part of mobiSiteGalore, apart from the 3rd level domain hosting that we were providing earlier.
c) We have also incorporated features like inviting friends through SMS and Email to view the mobile websites.

The following are some of the key features to be launched as mobiSiteGalore version 3.0 by the month end.

a) Mobile Advertisement related features: Google AdSense and AdMob - The user can display the AdSense or AdMob advertisements in their website.
b) Payment Integration related features: Google Checkout … for Mobile and PayPal - a simple Pay Now type of a button that we will allow them to receive payments through their mobile website
c) Syndication related features: Mobile RSS - will allow an user to display the RSS feeds from other websites from within their mobile website.
d) Support for ASP and PHP pages: This will allow users to have the entire website as ASP, PHP or HTML there by enabling them to have dynamic server content related features using ASP and PHP pages in the mobile website. Users should be able to change from one type to another, including HTML.

Cheers,

David,

Many thanks for the update and for the terrific tools you offer. I, for one, have been waiting for some of these features! :coo2l: Great news to hear they will be available soon! The only problem I see is now I'll have to develop more...

:adore: to mobisitegalore

...forgot to ask....will these new features be available to be rolled back to old sites already created with your tool? Or are they going to be for newly created sites only?

just bumping this. anyone know the answers?

from what i can see, mobisitegalore, does nothing that site.mobi already doesn't
in fact it looks like its just been ripped from site.mobi :confused2:

lastly, if mobisitegalore have indeed added feature where you can add google adsense to pages then we are away, as still site.mobi doesnt let you do this, although they have plans to.

anyone know answers to this?
cheers

cheersDon't know about the upgrades, but you've got it backwards with Site.mobi, it is powered by Mobisitegalore based on an agreement they have with mTLD. Haven't checked in a while but the TOS were slightly different between the 2 sites, probably a result of the negotiations with mTLD.

they have launched the admob and adsense to be added at source.

i checked the adsense one and it doesn't work.
you click goodies, click, add adsense. paste in code (which is definiely right) and it comes up error, check your code at source etc

anyone les had any joy?

i flagged up on their forum too

yeah, is in the goodies list and on forum. no big announcement though.
cant get it working though. keeps saying code is wrong, even though its not, even when change page suffix to php, their end. full of bugs still i think

doesnt evenm let me add a link. i'm finding site.mobi a lot easier tbh

I got it to work on a site on mobisitesgalore using admob.

When you get the code from them you have to manually change "testad" to "live" before it actually starts showing paying ads.

Also, I made some sites using site.mobi and it appears they still don't have this option for ad's yet. Hopefully they will get it updated soon.

i tried adding manually to my php pages, but for some reaosn i have the html pages and php mirror pages sent through via mobisitegalore but online only html pages showing. cant understand as other sites on my hosting have php pages and is supported. wondering if i did not do somthing on setting up account for particular name?

confused :eek2:

Pred,
are you trying with mobisites or site.mobi?

I would like to add it to site.mobi also but it isn't showing me the same goodie page.

Don't know what I was thinking trying every builder out there and makes it a little confusing trying to get them up.

im trying mobisitegalore.

i am also with site.mobi for some sites. less glitches on site imo, but they dont have option of adsense yet.
not that it works on mobisitegalore for me anyway

why google dont just make it for xhtml so you can add into code is beyond me

check out johny.mobi I jsut updated it and the feeds and admob work so far, I just made a post about johny's nwe features, im agona do my other sites today to, will keep you guys posted.

One more thing I noticed, (i used ASP code) an it was a buggy at first, but I foud nit to work best when you copy the code from bottom up, and also it gets stuck on the mode, but all I did was reset it to HTML then redid it to .ASP let me know if anyone has any questions, I am hosting for free from godaddy with the free hosting option.

no doubt the features are pretty good but hte site is too slow and every other feature opens in a new page or windows they must fix it in the next version and make it much more user friendly and fast

woot!
managed tpo get google adsense added to my php .mobi pages

adding manually as so many bugs on mobisitegalore. cant even add a link. quite annoying. just get as much added in the builder then manually add is my advice.
so sweet seeing with adsense on pages :adore:
