Hi Folks,

Here's a new simple rule to encourage more members to share their new developed .mobi's with the community as soon as they're launched:
To be nominated, a .mobi site must be posted beforehand in the "New .mobi sites Developed by members (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=54)" Section by its owner..So these are the full rules in effect as of this month:

To be nominated, a .mobi site must:

Be a site owned by a Mobility member who has a post count of at least 30 and has been a member for at least 1 month (to discourage new members from joining just to have their sites nominated).
Not be yours (to keep the number of nominations down).
Score at least a 4/5 on Ready.mobi (http://ready.mobi/) (to encourage proper development).
Have been posted beforehand in the "New .mobi sites Developed by members (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=54)" Section by its owner no more than 3 months ago, not including the month it was posted (to encourage members to develop new sites and share them with the Community).
Have never previously won .mobi of the month (to give other sites a chance), although it may be previously nominated
Not be adult or offensive in nature (to keep it clean).

To be honest, this should have been a rule from the start to help keep things organized, and that section could also use a bit of a pick-me-up. This new rule also has the added benefit of giving the site owner control over when their site is allowed to be nominated.

As for the 3 months old rule, it will now be based off of the date the site was posted by its owner in the "New .mobi sites Developed by members (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=54)" section, and will not include the month the site was posted (to be fair to sites posted later in the month). This should also make it a lot easier to keep track of "new" sites for the purpose of the rules.

So what are you waiting for, share your latest sites (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=54) with the community!

Great idea, Andres. Does this mean older sites that were not announced can be put in developed sites for a shot at the award?

Great idea, Andres. Does this mean older sites that were not announced can be put in developed sites for a shot at the award?Yup, as long as it fits all the criteria.
