Hi everybody in this great forum!
I am new here and want to introduce myself. German (Munich, Bavaria), 43, "collector" of mobile related domains. Because I believe this is the future of technics and money.

Those mobile related domains are, of course, dot.mobis. I am looking for other mobile TLD´s, too.

Before I will talk about my domainpool, I have a question to the experienced ones of you. I own droidster.com. It is, in my feeling, a great hint to Google´s android. Now someone has contacted my parking site to buy droidster.com. This site says droidster.com is worth about 1500,- $ and I should do the deal.

What do you think? I am not (not yet) experienced in selling. So please give me a tip which prices you have in mind for droidster.com.

Well, this is a very young domain. So it is not Google-ranked or so. And it is an artficial name, so those tools (I use adresso.de, it gives me about 100,- €+) cannot recognize a worth.

As long as I park this domain, it is worth nothing. If my barber in Munich uses it for his store it is let´s say worth 500,- $. But if Google ...

As I said, i have not much selling experience. Maybe hope and fantasy are clouding my mind.

On droidster.com, I'd take a few things into consideration on it.
1) As you regged it only 30 days ago, and already got interest in it, shows that there's more than reg fee.
2) Two other ext. are regged, though I didn't check to see if it was you.
3) It's a pretty decent brandable, and I'd say potential for a site for you or 'someone'.
4) People like that 'ster' on the back of names. I sold iPodster.com for $3K not long ago.

So if you don't need to sell it right now for the money, I'd either counter with $1500 or so, or hold it for a time and see how it plays out in say 2 years. Afterall you'd only have $16 or so into it, and could probably get a least a hundie for it then!

welcome blitz...nice to see you here...im not sure what its worth as im pretty new...but as they say(whoever THEY are) its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. In my humble opinion, if you dont need the money then come back to them with a figure that you would be happy to sell it for...say $3,000 or something you would be very happy with and be happy if they say yes......or list it perhaps on www.sedo.com (http://www.sedo.com) and tell the buyer the minum bid your willing to accept is $2,000 or something and direct them there, then see what it reaches in the auction. This way if there is other interest you will see what (they) are willing to pay. Thats just my opinion. You obviously must call the decision, and its hunge lol not hundie.

Hi MrMobi, this is a good proposal. I have thought about this strategy as Sedo is my parking site. Maybe auction is the right way. And they start with 15 ore more hundies, better than one in two years ;-)

best do as i did in the showcase threads and ask what people think...since i dont know what 80% of your names are, all i can say is i like weblovers.mobi and it could be a site for maybe people who met online who want to say to the world this is how we met, or a matchmaking site maybe...videoportals.mobi might be a directory to cool videos...best ask the experts though...im not really considered to be anyone with too much to offer right now...maybe next year i will have a clue lol i like mobilerankings.mobi too, ranking sites/phones...thats my humble opinion.

droidster is worth what someone would pay, i'd take $500, but play the game, maybe you'll make more and you can always negotiate down..

Just a quick note - when all of the names are together like on your post or on domainpool, it is very difficult to read them. It would be easier if they were in columns, and if you don't know how to do that with css at the moment, you could always use a single column. It would be much easier on the eyes imho.
