I use simple html and need to password protect a site I'm about to design for mobile users using a .mobi. Can anyone help me with this in the simplest html code?

Are you saying you want to password protect the whole site, or a whole directory within the site? You can easily do that via the hosting, just set password protection on the site or a directory within it - should take less than two minutes.

If you want to create personal accounts with logins that is different and is not just html coding.

If u want to protect a folder you can easy do using htpasswd . . .
Create a file , call .htpasswd.
in this file write like this
user:pass
You can replace user and pass ....

Good point, that's the quickest most direct way.. just make sure you edit the file in ascii format.
