Information in the palm of your hand for the faint of heart about the slithery (and spidery) creatures we tend to try to ignore.

Just info for the US for now.

I tried to keep things simple yet informative to identify the dangerous critters.

Again, searching for comments good and bad. How can I make it better?

Thanks!
Mark

Way to go Work - you are aptly named! (Mine is coast as a noun, not verb lol)

Rep headed your way.

Some Left Coast additions (now I know why I did a paper on this when I was in college :)):

-Western Rattlesnake (not to be confused with the Western Diamondback)
-Sidewinder
-Speckled Rattlesnake
-Black-tailed Rattlesnake
-Red Diamond Rattlesnake
-Tiger Rattler
-Rock Rattlesnake

Your site could go really deep when you see this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rattlesnake_species_and_subspecies

Almost forgot the infamous Mobi-hating Viper, an aggressive snake with the propensity to strike without warning or provocation. Thankfully there is an antidote found only here at Mobility.mobi.

Could that be the staffius emeritus slowmobius, aptly named spitting viper?
Beware when trying to use logic to defend yourself. This species seems to be void of reasoning powers. Been known to play dead when questioned about about reason. Habitat: Nowhere in the ecosystem but somewhere in the Northeast. Best defense: Ignore this creature at all costs.

As for making the site bigger, I agree there's plenty of room to grow. I was focusing more on the basics at this time. Will be adding as time allows. Also want to add some common venomous ocean species (jellyfish, stingrays and such) as well as scorpions.

This little world of ours is chock full of nasty little critters...
