O.K. , this post has been sitting awhile here unanswered so I will ask.

How is the German mobile market ? Is .mobi catching on over there ?

Just read the post about Fishlabs winning German Developer Award 2007.

Sounds promising. Do tell ......

ups sorry - i think i missed that post. Well the German market is taking off slowly....very slowly!

The problem is that most content providers here are thinking Premium SMS is the best way to distribute and sell contents. And I guess they think "Never change a running system".

But it seems to change since a couple of months. I know a lot of people who are very interested in dotMobi and more and more mobile websites are going live. Also the data tariffs are getting cheaper. The German media landscape is pushing mobile internet and every day you can read about it.

And even if Germany is the country with the highest population in Europe it needs more time if the market is competitive in mobile internet usage as UK, Sweden, Spain, Italy and other countries.
