More PM Storage?

Any way I can get more storage in my PM box?

It's 94% full, was at 99%. I hate to delete things, because I have much valuable information in there that pertains to my business.

And I like to add the urgent need to move sent PMs to a folder, not only received PMs.

Thanks for the suggestion, DMM, but I don't think that will be feasible at the moment as it would become too big a burden on the database to have thousands of users with thousands upon thousands of stored PM's.

The default limit on vBulletin is something like 150 and we've already matched other Domain Forums by increasing it to 2,500 in our early days. Once a limit is set, we can't exactly lower it, so I'm not too keen on increasing it further at this point, particularly as we continue to grow.

I must admit, I had this problem a while ago and I decided to delete all the PM's I had from Pred to start with... that gave me a few % more space... lol :laugh:

Then I got back to 99% within a week or two.. so I looked at my 'sent' messages and realised that almost all of them are duplicated in my inbox (when you send a msg a copy usually comes back with the reply).... so I had a quick scroll through to test my theory and ended up deleting 90% of my sent messages which cleared up a heck of a lot of space...

You can select all messages then in the drop down box , (bottom right) export to xml txt etc
