My newest site is up - MobileBuys.mobi (http://MobileBuys.mobi). Your Mobile Superstore!

Still needs some tweaks, and code adjustments. All opinions and suggestions welcomed.

And feel free to shop and buy too!

no offence, i just dont get what the point is when you click enter it goes to a non .mobi configured site? Isn't this defeating the point? That page at amazon would take a while to download on a mobile also...i dunno, i see .mobi sites with click through ads also to .com and .com.au....does this mean .mobi is just complient 5/5 for the front page? IMHO .mobi should only have links to sites configured, else people will start to get the $hits with it and wont see any point to it...plz correct me if im out of line or wrong.
I just tried your localconnect.mobi too...didnt find anyhing i searched for as im in Australia i guess. Might suggest that you dont have the search for zip, city or state option. Perhaps a select your city (with the city's that you have targeted as local so far)...ie If you have 10 states of USA done, then have a drop down for them....else same reason as above, people will go there and find it doesnt supply the need and think .mobi is $hit. If it shows what states or citys you have added content for then customers can select their city/state or countries when u get that far...mobi is global so ya gunna get people all over going there (hopefully, and you want them to add to favs and come back) hope this isn't taken the wrong way, hopefully constructive and helpful.

MrMobi - Did you even try looking at MobileBuys.mobi on a mobile phone/device?? We are building sites for mobile use, so I'm not wasting my time with sites that aren't mobi compliant, but I'm also not leaving the pc crowd out either. If one is going to build mobi sites, one should go out and get an mobile phone/device with internet connection for one's research at the least.

On LocalConnect.mobi, it is only a US based database at present, as there wasn't/isn't a worldwide one available presently.

Nothing taken wrong, and I do appreciate the efforts and comments. Thanks.

Forgive me,no sorry i didn't try looking at mobilebuys.mobi on my phone. I do have a Sony Ericson k800i but i haven't been able to connect online as im on three.mobi prepaid and it doesn't allow it which is bloody ridiculous, they do it to make you get on a plan.(i may have to soon, although i noticed you can get 5 hours live with dotmobi to check sites, so i may just use that when i develop to start) I just looked from a pc so sorry. Thanks for not taking it the wrong way,i was trying to help :/
I can be pretty niave at times or just uninformed etc. Thanks mate
