Free Small Business Mobile Front

Hi, not sure if this is the right place but here we go.

Small Business Mobile Front is a free and open source mobile asp.net site written in c#. I am leaning asp.net and creating or trying to create something is the best way of learning for me. So i started this simple project.

I don't think i can call it CMS. It is very simple and aimed make life a bit easier for (very) small businesses. All you need to do is download edit coupe of settings and upload it to your server to start adding your product categories & products.

Interesting. Are you also going to build in some commerce capabilities? Seeing products is great, but letting a customer buy them takes things to a whole new level of cool in mobile web.

Personally i believe you would need a custom solution depending on your product for mobile sale. There are too many obstacles to face.

Overcoming obstacles often equals opportunity. Lodging.mobi wouldn't exist today if we didn't overcome the obstacles.

What i mean is that i don't want to spend time on implementing a payment gateway in to this project. I am coming from classic asp and to learn .net i had to try to create something. So i thought i should try something that would be useful.

But going on a route of mobile shop solution is not an option for me at the moment. I would need to spend quite some time on it and i don't have spare time :)

May i ask if what sort of backed you are using to get Hotel info on your site? Are they real time?

Yes, the room availability is real time at Lodging.mobi, as is the checkout, the details as to how we do it all I can't go into though.
