Its up and running!! Thanks to developmy.mobi, coast and seanboy this site is ready for the public eye. This could be something special for all of us involved and the .mobi community. We will be sending out press releases tomorrow to the top 50 television markets in the United States as well as radio stations, morning news programs, newspapers, parenting sites, select tv programs and the associated press. Wish us all the best and I hope this is a product you can use in the future.

A few suggestions:

-The home button feels disconnected from the content since it is above the logo. Maybe do it like a breadcrumb instead: Home > Household Products

-The Household Products and Outdoor Products section is completely off topic from the site.

-A upc search tool would be an awesome future upgrade.

This site is a team effort, and it continues to be one as we move forward with adding content to and promoting the site. This is a great example of what mobility members can accomplish when we work together.

If anyone who wants to use this as a launching point for a .mobi in the public eye, digg the site, add it to del.icio.s, sphinn, newsvine, technorati, mr. wong, reddit, stumbleupon, forums, etc. - anything you can. I haven't bookmarked the site yet but I will. Anyone who wants to add it to their signature on other forums as a live link will get exposure to the site and .mobi, too.

It is very exciting to have something this timely up before "Black Friday." For those of you not familiar with the term, it refers to the day after American Thanksgiving which is the busiest shopping day of the year and all the retailers show a profit ("in the black"). Kudos to everyone involved, and thank you to all mobility members for your support and in promoting the site.

Well said Martin. We are sitting on so many potentially great mobile sites. Most though are just names until we decide to make the next step. Getting them out like this (in a timely manner) is essential to all of us.
