The nominees are:

Swine-Flu.mobi (http://swine-flu.mobi) -- 4/5

Congratulations to all who have been nominated!

The poll will be open for 1 week, closing at 11:39 a.m. EST on May 29. Get your votes in!

For me, any other month Swine-flu or foodrecalls might have taken my vote... but for sheer logistical merit and use friendly presentation my (atheist) vote goes to bible.mobi, I am quite sure that many millions of people will enjoy the site in the future.

I would like to see other religious and spiritual texts presented in this way in due course.

I voted for bible.mobi as it's the best url of the three 100% keyword goodness, the interface on the site is great and the back end makes it's lovely and slick for the users. It also has the most global appeal of the three candidates.

I've never been a fan of hyphenated domains and foodrecall really didn't do it for me as a site.

Swine-flu brings up a download box rather than parse pages and the whole SF thing is just media hype made up by soap manufacturers in a desperate bid to boost sales by getting us to go OCD on hand washing...... ;)

My personal view is that religion is a problem not a cure but aside that I think bible.mobi is a wicked little site, little is an understatement, as works go what an undertaking and how well executed!

Glad you like it -- we needed to allow more time for stragglers to show up and get their votes in...

A point that came up in the site suggestions thread is that you can digg entire threads on here - so you could do that to raise the overall profile of the contest if you want to.

I sort of like having it be voted on by existing members of Mobility...but that's just me...

From what I understand, only Mobility members can vote so the extra publicity can't hurt.

I know...I just meant I'd be a little concerned about people joining just to vote and then not coming back again. But I guess maybe the ones who stick around would be worth it. Doesn't matter too much really -- anyone who wants to publicize this elsewhere certainly can.

If by that you mean it's nearly impossible, not at all! We have several hundred possible voting members, so really we haven't even scratched the surface yet...

On this occasion, if several hundred members voted.. I think Bible.mobi would have simply scored several hundred more votes... a far & away winner this month which is less a reflection on the other two than it is praise for Bible.mobi - it is quite simply one of the best mobi sites I have seen to date.. and that is sincere praise from an atheist!
Credit where credit's due! :adore:
