Thought this was ironically cute... as I was searching for news about iPhone:
Check out this Arizona Daily Star article (http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/189774)...
Folks waiting in line at any of seven locations may post the info by using their cell phones to go to http://azstarnet.mobi. And they are promoting their .mobi site on their .com site too! Just click on the link at the top which says Get Mobile Access (http://www.azstarnet.com/mobile/) and you will see what I mean:)

LOL... By "waiting in line" they are referring to those people waiting in line to be the first to get their hands on iphones - and AZSTARNET is already targetting these folks with a .mobi site - that's forward thinking!

that is great
I love this
"Folks waiting in line at any of seven locations may post the info by using their cell phones to go to http://azstarnet.mobi. And people curious to know what's going on can check using their PCs and Macs by going online to http://www.azstarnet.com/special/iwait. From there, you can click on locations where iPhones will be sold and find out what the people in line there are saying. "
That shows the distinction between com and mobi right there. PC vs. mobile...perfect perfect perfect.

i must appolgize for this double post but after further reading found and interesting quote from that dentist that took off on Friday to get the iPhone
Ryan Farnum, a dentist who doesn't work on Fridays, arrived at the AT&T Wireless store at East 22nd Street and Old Spanish Trail about 6:15 a.m.
"I didn't want to be at the end of the line," said Farnum, who said he looks forward to the iPhone's Internet capabilities.
Farnum said he was surprised at how accommodating the AT&T staff have been as people lined up as the temperature topped 100 degrees.
IMHO he should be pulling teeth out instead of waiting in line for this phone! or will the people trying to search the internet capabilties feel like there in the dentist office while searching this new gadget? :)
"Sorry for the edit now" but I keep reading the story and notice a mobi hater and find this really funny and ironic as well.
