Hmmm...well. The only one there I would have considered registering myself, much less buy on the secondary market, is eBenefits.mobi (or maybe "PosterPrinting"). I don't really see the value in the "leaflet" names...

Sorry! Wish I could have said something more positive... :rolleyes2:

Well there is company I'm aware of that's called amaro (with no TM) & I think their business model will lend itself to a .mobi site (call it $350 & you can have it)...
Then there is the potential for electronic (paperless) leaflets.... via sms etc.. hence eleaflets (and the hyphen thrown in because it would be silly not to reg it for the extra $7)

I thought I'd check to see if I was being daft... if you whois eflyers.mobi you will see that it was regged on the 26th September 2006!!! someone had it on their 'want' list!! ;-)

Benefits are going the same way - electronic - all sorts - social, loyalty, branding etc.. worth a punt?

Afterall - every single .mobi is speculative at the moment - if it comes off the biggest investor will win most (depending on quality) - if it fails, they lose the most... I'm less than 5% invested in .mobi so I can afford to take the hit (but hell, I don't want to!)

And you never mentioned the classic one in that lot....

Manwithvan.mobi There's 20 in every town in the UK + another 500 in London.... it has to be winner ;-)

Cheap development costs, build a directory & hey presto...... ?

Just what it says on the tin....

A man + a van.

The phrase is commonly used in small ads in shop windows & small classifieds in the paper...

E-Bay has a few too.... offering to move goods bought online..

I figured you could build a directory quite easily (if not a little tedious) & then build traffic & then get ad revenue from self-storage firms, packing firms, bubble wrap sales, insurance, removals etc...

another neat little business ? maybe?

Anyone want to give it a go... you can have the name on indefinite loan & keep 90% of the profits after the renewal & hosting costs

(I always wanted to be Mr 10% ;-)

Scandi, I don't know about the west coast, but over in the new england area, we have something similar called "Two Men & a Truck". It's the same concept I think.

That's not the picture I get at all but the term Man with Van certainly isn't one I've heard. I think of some 70's throwback wearing bell-bottom's who's trying to score. Seriously though, this is probably one of those regional terms, if it makes sense in your area then go for it!
