Just got the new Ipod Touch and first site I went to was mobility. I was surprised I wasn't seeing the PC version of the site that included chat. The site is recognizing the Ipod Touch as a regular phone. If this is something that can be changed I would appreciate it. But not being a developer myself, I don't know what can and can't be done.

Not sure what would be involved but It would be ideal if users could switch from the mobile version to the PC version and vice versa on the fly no matter what device they are using.

I tried adding a link to the PC style from the mobile version and it still showed the mobile version on a mobile. I'm going to have to ask our mobile man dartho for a hand.
I agree with you guys that now that a lot of these hybrid mobile devices are out on the market, users should be allowed to switch between modes.
Let's see what dartho says about implementing this feature.

Let's see what dartho says about implementing this feature. Even on a PC it would be nice to be able to switch between PC/mobile version at will. User choice in these things I think will be a major plus.
