View Full Version : mobiSiteGalore question: Saving work?
I'm thinking about finally doing some development with mobiSiteGalore, and my main question before I begin is: Can you save all your work (on one or more sites) and come back and make edits/updates/etc.?

Yes in deedy
It's pretty simple to do. You can do what you want and save it for publishing later.
It's also very easy to update for a novice such as myself!
I'm working on 3 more as we speak myself. I was going to wait for version 3.0, but I figured I'd be better off doing something rather than nothing. I can always update when the new version comes out later.
Good luck with the dev plan....

Can you save the multiple sites under the same user name? I remember there was an issue with that early on, but that might have been version 1...
Thanks for the input!

If you can use multiple sites under one name, I can't figure it out. :hmmmm2: I simply make my user name the site name. In doing this, it's pretty easy to keep things straight....at least if you use a password manager :rolleyes2:

I haven't read the TOS in a while but I think we discovered in another thread here that site.mobi has better terms than mobisiteglaore.com even thought the later powers the former. Might have to do with the contract terms with mTLD but no way to confirm. Something about a fee for future upgrades or something like that. Akmin (mobisitegalore) visited here at Mobility and explained their terms. http://mobility.mobi/showthread.php?p=8413

I'm still old school Scandi... I prefer to use the different passwords just in case...If the "1" got into wrong hands, then all of my sites would be compromised. Paranoid? Did you hear that sound? Is somebody there? Not me
From everything I've seen and read about mobisite....the cost factor would only come into play if you chose to use their service without their "branding". In other words, if you wanted more of a custom look without "mobisitegalore" plastered on it, it's available...for a fee....At least, that's how I read it!
